There is much to do, many people to meet, friends to make, relationships to develop, lands to explore, houses to design and build, quests to complete, rare treasures to hunt for, exotic creatures to tame, and an almost infinite array of characters to build. There is a whole community for you to become an integral part of for many years to come. From simply visiting with friends or fishing up sunken treasure, to slaying evil monsters and rescuing innocent citizens from harm's way; you can play chess, checkers, or backgammon with a friend, craft powerful weapons and armor, bake bread, mine for gold, grow a nursery full of plants, or hosting trivia or word scramble games. PC Realm is truly whatever you choose to make it. The future of this online world, is up to it's players!

New Player Information:

Tree with falling leaves and swing Many established players will gladly assist a new player in getting started, which we strongly encourage everyone to do. This world is designed to be a community hot-spot where old friends come to play and new friends meet. PC Realm is a PG13 online world and all players are expected to respect the fact that there will likely be people of all ages inworld, including children, and act accordingly.

When you start a new character you will find a number of items in your backpack:
- A red book for taking notes, if you like.
- A candle to light your way.
- A dagger for hunting and defending yourself.
- A red book with new player information and tips, double click to open it.
- Depending on which character template you choose, there will also be a little something to help get you started in your trade.

Upon logging in you will be prompted to create your first character. Don't worry too much about what kind of skills you'd like to start with. Each account is able to create 5 different characters, and if you don't like one you've made you can delete it and start again!

If you are seeking help from staff please use the help page system rather than private messages, wherever possible, so the first available staff member will be able to assist.
To page a staff member:
Click the HELP button on your paperdoll or on the toolbar at the top of the game window, click the blue gem beside the "Request GM Assistance" option, then enter a description of your problem or the reason you are paging. Please write out what it is that you need help with so we can help more efficiently.
Some of the staff have noticed that when a player needs help, they simply ask if a particular staff member is online or they just Private Message (aka PM) one of the staff members directly. If it is a personal matter that only that particular person can assist with, then yes, PM them. If it is something that any staff member can handle, then please use the paging system.

Traveling is very easy here, just use the blue moongate teleporters. They will take you to almost all of the cities. PC Realm has 4 different lands, each with their own cities: Trammel, Felucca, Malas & Tokuno. Check out the PC Realm Atlas for geographical maps of the lands. Trammel and Felucca have the same geography and cities, some requiring a boat to access! The difference between them is that Felucca allows player versus player (PVP) combat, while Trammel only allows player versus monster (PVM) combat. Therefore we recommend new players not to go to Felucca as other players can attack you and steal your stuff. Trammel, Malas & Tokuno do not allow players to attack each other. Malas has vast open lands, dungeons, and two cities. Tokuno has one very beautiful city, Newhera-Jima, designed in an Oriental style. Tokuno also has dungeons, deserts, a snowy plateau, and lots of land to explore.

The stat cap for each character is 240 (which means that your total Intelligence, Strength & Dexterity can be a maximum of 240, ie. Int 110, Str 110, Dex 20). The total skill cap is 800 (which means, for each character, you have a total of 800 skill points to distribute among whichever skills you want). There are 54 different skills to choose from so the playstyle choices are almost endless. Each individual skill is capped at 100, power scrolls can be used to get to 120 for tailoring and blacksmithing. In the future we may add more power scrolls for other skills.

There are two different ways to get power scrolls:
Doing Blacksmithing Bulk Order Deeds (BODs) can earn you Blacksmith scrolls.
Doing Tailoring Bulk Order Deeds (BODs) can earn you Tailoring scrolls.

All characters have 6 follower slots. Many pets require more than one follower slot, depending on their usefulness and abilities. There are lots of tame-able animals and monsters, from rabbits and horses to dragons and white wyrms.

If you choose to be a warrior, here is a video with the basics on how to fight:
