1. Please show respect to staff members and other players. Staff members are volunteers and should not have to tolerate players giving them grief. PC Realm is provided free of charge, by a private individual, as a service to our online community.
2. No offensive language, character names or pet names. This will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Please remember that this is a PG13 world and it is quite probable that there will be children under 13 playing as well.
3. Trash Talking, insulting other players, or use of profanity are not acceptable. This is a jailable offense, possibly bannable depending on how offensive it is. Read our Harassment Policy for more information.
4. If you or your pet die, find a healer or another player to resurrect you, or use a Life Stone/Pet Rez Stone. This isn't something players should be asking staff to do for them. Dieing is a frequent and normal part of playing in PC Realm. There are pet resurrection stones and life stones in various cities and outside dungeons.
5. Player Killing (aka PK'ing) is not allowed and will not be tolerated. If you PK someone, your account will be deleted and you will be banned from playing in PC Realm. Player vs. Player (aka PVP) is allowed as long as it is consensual and ONLY on the Felucca facet.
6. Please do not attack a monster that someone else is trying to kill, unless they ask for help. If two people want to fight in the same area, take turns or fight together.
7. Griefing others is a jailable offense! This includes luring monsters to someone and getting them killed. Doing so does not make PC Realm fun for everyone.
8. Looting other players is NOT allowed. If you loot another player's corpse without their permission, you will be jailed and the other player's items will be returned to them.
9. Stealing from monsters and non-player characters (aka NPC's) is not allowed. There is nothing more annoying than spending time killing monsters and finding no loot on the corpse! If anyone is caught doing this, they will be jailed immediately and have their stealing skill set to 0. Stealing from other players is NOT allowed! The Stealing skill is to be used for stealing rare artifacts found on the ground in dungeons, towns, etc.
10. No exploiting bugs. Players that report unknown bugs will receive a reward. Players found to be exploiting bugs will have their account deleted and will be banned. If you are unsure whether something is a bug, report it just in case.
11. Macroing is allowed, but not inside towns or in populated areas. Unattended macroing, or use of third party scripts to gain an unfair advantage is NOT allowed. Disobeying these rules will result in a warning for the first offence and any further offenses will result in ALL skills being lowered to 0.
12. Only one account per person. Each account comes with 5 characters so there is no need for more than one account per person.
13. Staff will not replace lost items. This includes items lost due to time warps caused by a server crash. In the rare event that a crash occurs and items are lost, staff might compensate in some manner, but please do not complain about lost items. Power outages, hardware failure, and so on are not preventable within the means of PC Realm Administrators. We save the world every 30 minutes so the maximum time warp would be going back 29 minutes.
14. Please don't leave pets parked in town, dungeons or any other public area. This creates unnecessary lag on the server. Pets can be stored in a stable by saying "stable" or "stall" at an animal trainer. Pets left out of stables for extended periods of time will lose loyalty and go wild, which means you'll have to find them and retame them (if they're still alive)!
15. Unless otherwise stipulated at the time of the event, pets are not allowed to be used for events. Too many players in one locale will cause lag, but throw in 1-5 pets for each tamer and that is ALOT of lag.
16. Staff member volunteers are chosen by Administration, from the player base. Established players are more than welcome to apply for a staff position after they have been actively playing in PC Realm for 30 days. To apply for a position, please email peacecountryrealm@hotmail.com to inquire whether there are any positions available.
17. PC Realm does not support the UO 3D Client, please do not use it.
